The Loneliness of the Abyss (2023)

The St. Nicholas departed Piraeus on a routine voyage. Its crew now faces a final, silent watch. A leviathan from the abyss has surfaced, halting the ship in the black water. It demands an answer to a single, impossible question: “Is He Alive?” The men have no protocol for this. Panic spreads across the deck as the creature waits, its form a mass of ancient scale and shadow against the moonless sky. The sea is perfectly still. No radio signal reaches this depth.
