The 1904 Olympic Marathon unfolds under the St. Louis sun, a grueling spectacle orchestrated by organizer James E. Sullivan. His design is not for athletic glory but for a brutal demonstration of racial ideology. Thirty-two men begin the race on dusty, hilly roads, deliberately deprived of water and basic support. Among them, runners like Fred Lorz and Thomas Hicks endure conditions that push human endurance to its breaking point. The event descends into chaos, with only fourteen competitors managing to cross the finish line. The scorching heat and the organizer's cruel experiment leave a permanent stain on the history of the games.
