In the year 2450, the Human species has fractured into two distinct civilizations. On a dying Earth, survivors have reshaped their biology through genetic manipulation, adapting to the planet's hostile new climate. Meanwhile, in the void of space, their kin have embraced a different path, integrating with machines through cybernetic augmentation to survive the journey between stars. The future of both societies now hinges on a necessary, violent reunion.
