City Boy (2023-)

In the dense urban sprawl, Cameron Kim navigates a life of quiet desperation. His mind is a constant channel for the voices of cities, their layered histories and hidden truths a deafening, inescapable noise. He uses this connection to survive, locating lost items to pawn in the grimy backstreets. Recently, the cities have begun to manifest physically, forming animal avatars from discarded urban debris to walk beside him. A rat-shaped construct of gutter scrap now shadows him through Gotham. As his power intensifies, he wonders what forms Metropolis or Themyscira might take, and which voices may not wish him well.
