In the rain-slicked future of Neo Novena, archaeology student Johannes Vale has committed a murder. The act mirrors the signature of a historic serial killer, but Johannes has no memory of it. Now a fugitive in his own city, he navigates its neon-drenched avenues and forgotten underlevels, pursued by forces he cannot name. His search for answers becomes a desperate hunt through the metropolis’s encrypted past, each deciphered clue pulling him deeper into its structural core. The investigation turns inward, forcing a confrontation with the architecture of his own fractured mind. Cold water drips from corroded data-pipes overhead.
