In the post-war sprawl of Rat City, Peter Cairn navigates a life defined by his prosthetic legs and a past as a soldier. The nanites within his artificial limbs, however, are no longer inert technology. They were irrevocably altered by a distant, necroplasmic event tied to Al Simmons, a resonance that crossed both space and time. This anomaly has granted Peter the violent capabilities of a Hellspawn, yet he remains among the living. His existence is a physical contradiction—a man fused with otherworldly power, operating in the grime and fractured neon of a city built on forgotten conflicts.
