The Mushroom Knight (2024-)

A chivalrous faerie mushroom patrols the decaying heart of his magical woodland kingdom, investigating a silent calamity that has poisoned the roots and soil. Meanwhile, in northwest Philadelphia, an adolescent girl combs the city's forgotten lots and alleys for her missing dog. Their paths converge in a vacant lot where the urban grid dissolves into tangled undergrowth. A whimsical, necessary friendship forms between them, bridging two disintegrating worlds. The hidden threat the knight hunts begins to manifest in cracked pavement and warped streetlights, its influence spreading from the forest floor into the girl's neighborhood. The air smells of damp earth and exhaust.
