Morning Star (2024-)

1956. The Kootenai National Forest is a scarred landscape, still holding the memory of the fire that consumed Nathan Garrett. One year later, his wife Jolene leads her two children to the remote Morning Star lookout, carrying his ashes and a fragile hope for peace. The isolation is absolute: no phones, no roads, no light but their own. What finds them there is not a memory or a ghost, but a force native to the deep woods. It operates on a scale the grieving Garrett family cannot comprehend, indifferent to their human sorrow. Their world has been reduced to the cabin's walls and the immense, watching silence of the pines.
