In the quiet fields of Smallville, eight-year-old Clark Kent hides his incredible strength and speed. His isolation ends when he meets two others with strange abilities: Kendra Saunders, who can fly, and Guy Gardner, who commands a ring of green light. The three form a secret club in a barn, a place to safely test their powers without fear. They call themselves the Good Guy Gang, finding friendship in their shared uniqueness. Their first rule is simple: use these gifts to help. The morning sun warms the old wood of their new headquarters as they plan their first small mission.
