The throne of Mephisto is forged from the collective terror of Earth. His dominion over mortal souls is nearly absolute, a final victory he has schemed toward for eons. Yet, a single, unidentified presence now stands between him and total conquest. This opposition has drawn the attention of other powers: Doctor Doom, Dormammu, the Red Skull, the Green Goblin, Loki, and the Abomination.
