Star-Lord Annual (2016-)

Peter Quill crash-lands on a sun-scorched desert world, his ship a smoking ruin. The nearby settlement is gripped by fear, cowed by a single, brutal varmint. With no ship and no crew, Quill organizes the terrified townspeople, teaching them to fight back against their oppressor. Their initial victory is short-lived. The town’s foundations hide a secret far older and more dangerous than the surface bully, a truth buried in the planet’s arid crust.
