The new Sentinels are a line of defense in a tense New York. Powered by adaptive nanotech, these machines are now operated by mutants, tasked with maintaining a fragile armistice with humanity. The pilots, including Jude and Mara, live within their armor, their consciousnesses constantly synced to the cold logic of the program. Their inaugural directive is the capture of the fugitive Omega Red, a mission that pushes their protocols to the limit. The question lingers in every neural interface and every silent patrol over the city: where does the pilot end and the weapon begin?
