Rare Flavours (2023-)

In the bustling kitchens of India, a new culinary project is underway. The demon Rubin Baksh has hired the struggling documentarian Mo to film a series on the country’s celebrated food. Rubin presents himself as a visionary, a creature of myth with a surprisingly human ambition to explore cuisine. Mo’s camera captures vibrant markets and skilled chefs, believing he is crafting a simple travelogue. He remains unaware that his subject is a Rakshasa, and that the show’s true ingredients are far more sinister. The mortal participants are becoming unwitting parts of a recipe they do not understand, their roles shifting from collaborators to essential components.
