Havana Split (2025-)

The sun-scorched streets of Havana are a backdrop for a desperate transaction. A former CIA agent, a Cubanese-American woman, and a disreputable private eye have taken a starlet hostage, their payment demanded by the mob to settle an old man’s catastrophic baseball debt. The loss by the Havana Leones at the new Latinoamericano stadium has spiraled into criminal obligation. Across the island, a different kind of debt is being called in. A band of revolutionaries, mobilized by a young Fidel Castro, is advancing toward the capital. Their march fuels whispers in the cafés and cold calculations in the halls of power, where the threat of upheaval breeds new schemes. The humid air carries the scent of cordite and betrayal.
