The inaugural flight of the Fantastic Four returned to Earth with a different kind of cosmic radiation. The crew now carries a hunger that has nothing to do with exploration. This new reality diverged from its first moment, its foundational heroes becoming the source of a spreading contagion. As the infection tears through New York City, familiar figures are caught in the initial chaos. Some attempt to form a resistance, while others are immediately consumed. The streets are not battlegrounds for ideals, but for survival, with the early infected already hunting in the ruins of the Baxter Building.
