The wet heat of the Louisiana bayou is thick with the scent of mud and rot. Alligator poachers move through the mire, their work a quiet, violent routine. In a nearby shack, a heavily pregnant park ranger shares a hateful drink with a local criminal matriarch, their uneasy truce built on shared desperation. Meanwhile, a lone figure, driven mad by psychedelics and a thirst for vengeance, loads his rifle. He has declared a Human Hunt, his screams tearing through the humid night air as he takes aim at the world that wronged him. The swamp holds its breath.
