A new sinkhole has opened in Washington, D.C., swallowing the recently dedicated X-O Memorial whole. The chasm is not a geological event but a breach, a direct portal to the chaotic dimension known as The Faraway. In response, Jamie Capshaw has assembled a specialized unit. This group includes the immortal Eternal Warrior, the covert operative Ninjak, and the regenerating weapon Bloodshot. Their mission is immediate containment and investigation. The air above the site crackles with unstable energy, and strange, phosphorescent flora has begun to sprout from the crater's jagged edges.
