Black White and Bloodshot (2024-)

The Bloodshot program’s primary asset is a self-repairing body, a perpetual resource. A team of scientists has isolated him in a sterile facility, harvesting his regenerating tissue to synthesize an endless protein supply. His consciousness drifts between the cold lab and the memory of a desert mission, a past failure that haunts his fragmented mind. In another moment, he sits in a darkened cinema, the film’s narrative interrupted by a local serial killer. The violence is swift, clinical. Later still, he faces a distorted, cartoonish adversary in a vacant lot. The nanites in his bloodstream constantly rebuild him, a cycle without end.
