A series of unnatural fires consumes a decaying rust belt town, beginning with the Windler Industries factory. The blazes have now escalated, targeting the company’s employees directly. Sam and Dean Winchester arrive to find a community gripped by fear and ash, where the line between industrial accident and supernatural attack has been erased. Their investigation is complicated by the factory’s owner, CEO Steff Windler, whose personal involvement and suspicious preparedness suggest deeper secrets. The air smells of ozone and burnt metal, a constant reminder of the malevolent force still at work in the town’s hollowed-out streets.
