Sunshine Patriots (2024-)

In 1913, two former Rough Riders arrive in Hollywood, a town of fresh concrete and false fronts. The nascent film studios, hungry for men who can handle violence, recruit them as muscle. Their new duties place them at the intersection of celluloid fantasy and brutal reality, as the first Sicilian syndicates establish their own operations in the sun-bleached streets. The men navigate a landscape where staged gunfights for the cameras bleed into genuine territorial disputes. The scent of orange blossoms mixes with cordite and developing chemicals.
