My Adventures with Superman (2024-)

Metropolis is quiet for the holidays, leaving Clark Kent alone with his thoughts. A report of a disturbance in the city's underbelly changes that. He, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen descend into the steam and concrete of the sewers, where they encounter a new threat. The entity they find is a shifting, amorphous mass, capable of consuming and integrating any material it contacts. Its origins are unknown, its purpose unclear. As Superman confronts this adaptive creature, the familiar streets above feel distant, replaced by the damp echo of dripping water and the creature's silent, hungry expansion.
