The student bloody council is running a fundraiser, selling a new line of frighteningly adorable furry fiends. Abbey Bominable is completely captivated by them, her attention fixed on the small, soft creatures. Meanwhile, Heath Burns watches from a distance, his internal flame flickering with a quiet longing. His affection for Abbey is a constant, smoldering presence, but it finds no purchase against her new obsession. The school halls are filled with the chatter of students cooing over their new pets, while Heath remains alone with his impossible wish to be something other than what he is.
