Jack Xaver lives in his parents' basement in a quiet Midwestern town. Once the celebrated Crossjack of the media super-team Third Gen, he now navigates the mundane reality he abandoned. The local diner, the hardware store, and old acquaintances form a world that no longer fits. Then, a body is found near the old grain silos. Then another.
