Twenty years ago, the demonic territory of Necronema consumed the American Midwest. It is held at bay only by the witchcraft-controlled borderland of Edenwood, the final barrier protecting the rest of the continent. After a young Demon Hunter named Rion successfully kills a trans-dimensional Gather, the Witch War Council drafts him for a critical mission.
