The cramped Seattle apartment of Buddy and Lisa now holds the clutter of middle age. Their free-spirited adult child is a constant reminder of their own chaotic youth in the grungy 1990s. The past intrudes in stark black and white, revealing the first volatile meetings with Stinky, George, and Val. In the present, a long-buried truth about Stinky's death forces its way to the surface, challenging Buddy's carefully constructed version of history.
