The gritty underbelly of the Image Universe is currently being exposed. Cassie Hack and her partner Vlad, hunters of unnatural killers, have tracked an unusual slasher to a familiar doorstep. Their investigation forces an alliance with the cyborg former soldier known as Superpatriot. Together, they are drawn into a desperate race against time, joined by the scattered remnants of a forgotten super-team. The hunt moves through forgotten industrial zones and the decaying infrastructure of a world where heroes once stood. The air smells of ozone and old blood.
