A year after their escape, the four survivors of Nightmare Cemetery have sworn off the Dreamwave console. Their pact to leave the game and its final boss, the King of Sleep, behind is shattered by a sudden update. A new expansion, The Blighted Sprawl, has appeared online, promising to expose the source of the game’s digital corruption. This promise becomes an urgent threat as the game’s influence begins manifesting in the physical world through a series of unsettling phenomena. The friends are drawn back into a conflict where the boundary between a sleeping nightmare and waking reality has dissolved.
