The fields around Cora Reims's farm have turned sour. Crops wither in the soil, and the local ponds are fouled with the boiled remains of frogs. This blight follows her son, a Nephilim whose cherubic face can no longer mask the corruption within. For seventeen years, the townspeople have endured the atrocities that trail him, their fear a constant presence in the air.
