Star-Lord (2017-)

Peter Quill is back on Earth, his boots on cracked pavement instead of a starship deck. The transition from Star-Lord to civilian is proving difficult. His skillset, honed for cosmic warfare and galactic diplomacy, has few applications here. For now, he’s found a temporary post behind a bar, listening to terrestrial problems under the glow of neon signs. The planet has an unexpected new protector, one who is currently learning the price of a drink and the weight of a gravity he hasn't felt in years. The air here is still and smells of exhaust.
